Job summary

Prairie Ridge Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience under the supervision of an Orthodontist, adhering to policies and state dental laws.

Responsibilities include placing/removing appliances, bonding brackets, reviewing charts, and assisting in labs while maintaining infection-control standards. Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth offered.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician.
  • II Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
  • Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
  • CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

  • Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist.
  • Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets.
  • Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data and transcribes doctor notes.
  • Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist.
  • Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow.
  • Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications.
  • Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
  • Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
  • Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events.
  • Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols.
