Job summary

Premier Care Dental Management on Long Island, NY is seeking a Dental Assistant with orthodontic assisting experience. The role supports the dentist, performs radiographs, and upholds strict infection control. CS/ CDA on the path to RDA welcomed; state licenses as required are considered. A stable work history and strong patient communication are valued.

Compensation reflects NY market rates with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth within a patient-centered, team-driven practice.

Qualifications

• Prior orthodontic dental assisting experience required.
• RDA is preferred, open to Dental Assistant with their CDA on the pathway to RDA.
• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the Dentist with various procedures.
• Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
• Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.

New York Salary Range: $28/HR - $34/HR (relative to experience level)
