Westview Dental Care in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist across a full range of general and cosmetic procedures in a modern practice. The ideal candidate holds a California RDA license, has 1–2 years of clinical experience, and demonstrates strong infection control skills, excellent communication, and a patient‑first approach.

Competitive pay at $28–$32 per hour, plus benefits; schedule Monday to Friday with occasional weekend hours;

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California.
• Infection Control License or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of clinical RDA experience preferred.
• Proven ability to assist in a wide range of general and cosmetic procedures.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Strong verbal communication and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor in 4-handed dentistry across restorative, cosmetic, and specialty procedures.
• Perform duties permitted for an RDA in California.
• Prepare patients for treatments and ensure comfort.
• Set up instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures.
• Maintain sterilization and health/safety compliance.
• Manage patient records and assist with charting.
• Keep clinical areas clean, organized, and stocked.

Westview Dental Care is a modern, state-of-the-art practice committed to offering patients a complete range of general and cosmetic dental services, from routine check-ups to complete smile makeovers. Led by Dr. Rassool, we practice conservative, proactive dentistry utilizing the latest in dental technology. We prioritize patient safety and comfort, and our office is taking every appropriate measure to keep our team members and patients safe with the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

• $28 - $32 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, Infection Control License
• Current and valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as an RDA is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to assist effectively in a wide range of general and specialty dental procedures.
• Exceptional knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• A compassionate and patient-oriented approach to care.

Preferences

• License & Certification: Certified Orthodontic Assistant
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend practice management software.
• Prior experience in a multi-specialty practice setting (Cosmetic, General Practice, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Endodontic, Orthodontic).

Job Description

• Assist the doctor efficiently and skillfully in all 4-handed dentistry procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, periodontic, prosthodontic, oral surgery, endodontic, and orthodontic treatments.
• Perform all functions permitted under the scope of practice for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in California.
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort throughout the visit.
• Select and accurately set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for various dental procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterilization protocols, sterilizing instruments and equipment according to all health and safety regulations.
• Manage patient records and assist with charting.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and stocked clinical area.
