Job summary

RIVADENEIRALPT PLLC is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks such as scheduling. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDA and has at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Must be state-licensed as an RDA.
• At least two years of dental assisting experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and ensure comfort in the treatment area.
• Discuss and explain the dental care plan with patients.
• Record medical history and vital signs.
• Prepare sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and exams.
• Maintain health, safety, and office policies.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Schedule appointments

Qualifications

• Spanish/English Speaker
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure
• Previous experience as a dental assistant
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
