Job summary

Henderson Smiles is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in Henderson Smiles. You will welcome patients, prepare them for exams, and assist dentists across a range of procedures.

We seek a Texas-licensed RDA with sealant placement, nitrous monitoring, and coronal polishing certifications. Proficiency in digital x-rays and charting, plus strong customer service and communication skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Texas-registered RDA license is required.
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring, and coronal polishing certifications (training available).
• Proficiency in digital x-rays and charting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams and make them feel at ease.
• Take high-quality digital X-rays with accuracy.
• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Maintain a sterile, organized exam and treatment area.
• Educate patients about treatment options and aftercare.
• Assist with teeth polishing and sealant placement.
• Manage patient appointments and care.
• Uphold stringent sterilization standards.
• Foster a warm, engaging atmosphere for patients during visits.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, Coronal Polishing Certifications (training available for the right candidate).
• Proficiency in digital x-rays and charting.
• A star in customer service and excellent communication skills.
