Job summary

Cool Creek Family Dental in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our compassionate team. In this role you will assist the dentist, take and develop radiographs, and help prepare instruments while maintaining a clean, efficient operatory.

We value clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate holds an active RDA license, X-ray certification, and at least two years of dental practice

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant license required (2 years experience).
• X-ray certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in a dental practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene to maintain oral health.

Join Our Team as a Registered Dental Assistant!

Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant looking for a rewarding career opportunity? Cool Creek Family Dental in Austin, TX is seeking a talented individual to join our team. As a Registered Dental Assistant at our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while working in a supportive and positive environment.

Pay: $20-25 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7AM-5PM; flexibility for Friday - 8 AM-2PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Perform various office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Dental Assistant license (2 years experience required)
• X-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a dental practice preferred
