Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana North (New Albany Campus) is seeking a Full-Time Registered Clinical Dietitian to plan regular and modified diets for patients and counsel them on nutrition needs. The role includes patient visits, education, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

The position requires RD certification and state licensure; three years of clinical experience are preferred, with rehabilitation experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the State to practice Dietetics.
• Three years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
• Routinely visit patients and counsel patients with nutritional needs.
• Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
• Assist with the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Education and Training

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.

Experience

• 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
