North Big Horn Hospital District is seeking a Registered Dietitian to assess, educate, and coordinate nutrition care for patients across long-term and acute settings. The role includes diabetes education, medical nutrition therapy, and collaboration with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nutrition or Dietetics, a dietetic internship, and current RD licensure or eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and have completed a Dietetic Internship from an accredited institution or a Coordinated Undergraduate Program.
• Registered Dietitian or eligible to become registered within three months of hire.
• Current license or ability to obtain license through appropriate Dietetics licensing board.

Aufgaben

• Perform nutrition assessments for long term care and acute care patients and residents.
• Develop patient menus in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and staff.
• Conduct MDS assessments and charting for long term care as required.
• Deliver Diabetes Education and Medical Nutrition Therapy per ADA standards.
• Participate in discharge planning and community diabetes education initiatives.
• Collaborate with care teams to set patient-centered nutrition goals.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the dietary department.
