Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Serves as first contact to service a high volume of daily interactions, including basic inquiries, quotes and scheduling meetings for clients on phone, in-person, virtually and via mailings.
  • Provides crucial support to financial advisors and branch office both independently and within a team.
  • Onboards new clients, opens new client accounts and researches client and security information using internal databases and technologies.
  • Ensures client information and documentation are current with firm and industry requirements, rules and regulations.
  • Processes and monitors asset transfers to ensure assets and cost basis are received.
  • Monitors cash awaiting investment, runs weekly cash/cash equivalent reports, and contacts clients with investment opportunities.
  • Reviews and responds to corporate actions and client account alerts.
  • Prepares financial reports, spreadsheets and materials for client meetings.
  • Inputs orders and rebalances portfolios on behalf of the Financial Advisors.
  • Creates and maintains records in CRM systems and other files.
  • Assists Financial Advisors with marketing events and client seminars.
  • Engages in training and development to stay current on firm policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Previous Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) or more years securities industry or related work experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
