Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Registered Client Service Associate to support high-producing advisors by preparing portfolio materials, building financial plans, and managing client interactions to deepen relationships. You will schedule meetings, prepare documents, and coordinate new business processes in a client-focused, in-office orientation.

  • Life, Accident, and Health licenses & Variable Contracts or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • Experience in a client service environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist advisor in servicing clients including preparing financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades and transactions.
  • Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings, enter data into contact manager, build the agenda and summary of meetings, escort clients to advisor and provide vital follow-up.
  • Prepare and ensure new business paperwork submitted, including forms, signatures, documentation to home office, track insurance applications and coordinate rollovers.
  • Coordinate marketing events including crafting marketing compliance documentation and managing event marketing reimbursement.
  • Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisor's phone, processing expense reports, preparing routine client correspondence, support for closes, and file set up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisors phone, processing expense management reports, prepare routine client correspondence, support for closes, set up of client files, copy and new business correspondence and alerts.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years Relevant Experience Required.
  • Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • Life, Accident, and Health licenses & Variable Contracts or ability to obtain within 150 days.
  • Experience working in a client service environment.
  • Detail orientated, strong math, and analytical skills. Good organization and time management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and prioritizes effectively. Able to independently work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to communicate with all levels within the organization. Process oriented and can work with a team.
  • Strong computer and software skills.

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $58,300 - $80,100 per year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
