Job summary

Skillful Steps ABA is seeking dedicated BTs/RBTs to join our team delivering in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD in the Columbia, Maryland area.

You will implement behavior intervention plans under supervision, collect data, and communicate with families while collaborating with a BCBA. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check clearance required upon hiring.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities/ASD is preferred.
• Reliability and ability to maintain a weekly schedule.
• Access to transportation to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to individuals with ASD.
• Collect and record data on client progress using electronic data collection software.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents to review client progress.
• Develop/create teaching materials and visuals for sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Skillful Steps ABA provides In-Home ABA therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our team of Behavior Therapists (BTs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) collaborate closely with each child and family to provide top quality ABA services.

Requirements

• Previous Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities And/or
• behavioral challenges; ASD experience preferred.
• Reliability: Ability to keep to a weekly schedule
• Access to transportation, whether it be a reliable vehicle or public transit
