Take and pass the RBT examination. Receive your RBT credential. Work with the Staffing Coordinator to start the credentialing process.

RBTs must receive a minimum of 5% of their total monthly direct service hours in supervision from a qualified BCBA or BCaBA. Effective January 1, 2026, only BCBAs and BCaBAs may supervise RBTs in accordance with BACB requirements. Non-certified RBT supervisors are no longer permitted.
This position requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Becoming certified starts with completing a 40-hour online training course.
