Job summary

Kona Medical Consulting is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental challenges. You'll work in various environments in Tennessee to support children's growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, RBT certification preferred, and experience working with children.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• At least one year of experience with children preferred.
• RBT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you’ll provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental challenges. You’ll work in various settings—homes, schools, and community environments—to support each child’s growth and help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Follow and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Teach skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, academics, and daily living
• Collect accurate data during each session
• Communicate effectively with families and team members
• Be punctual and reliable across all assigned sessions
  
  

Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma (Required)
• Registered Behavior Technician 40 hour training (Preferred)
  
  

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience working with children (Preferred)
• Prior ABA or special education experience is a plus
