Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is opening a center-based program in Nevada and is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join the team. RBTs provide 1-1 treatment in partnership with BCBAs and play a critical role in delivering life-changing services to children on the autism spectrum.

Ideal candidates hold current RBT certification, have access to reliable transportation, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with families.

Qualifications

  • Currently certified as an RBT
  • Currently certified with the Nevada ABA board or willing to obtain certification
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with ASD, preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA
  • Collect data to monitor progress and report progress
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
  • Physically assist with sessions (standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running) with children aged 2–15
  • Assist with any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Responsibilities

  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
  • Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA
Qualifications
  • Currently certified as an RBT
  • Currently certified with the Nevada ABA board or willing to obtain certification (if moving from another state)
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with ASD, preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
