Job summary

Discovery Therapy in Philadelphia seeks dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Early Intervention team. This in-person role supports children 1:1 to meet behavioral, social, communication, and developmental goals across preschool, daycare, and home settings.

Available as full-time, part-time, or contract/per-diem, the position emphasizes BACB guidelines, data collection, and collaboration with families and teachers to help children reach Individualized Education Programs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of the Initial 40-Hour RBT Training.
• Passed the Initial RBT Competency Assessment.
• Application submitted to the BACB and successful completion of the RBT Examination.
• Active RBT Certification (no pending, inactive, or expired status).
• Minimum of 2 years of RBT experience.
• Continuous supervision by a BACB-certified supervisor in accordance with BACB guidelines.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications required.
• Experience working with IEPs and/or in a preschool setting.
• Experience supporting children with behavioral challenges and developmental needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one (1:1) support to children
• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
• Support children with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, and learning disabilities
• Collect and document data on client progress
• Collaborate with families, teachers, therapists, and supervisors
• Assist children in achieving individualized goals

Discovery Therapy, a company that truly cares for our family of therapists, is seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Early Intervention team!

In-person cases available throughout Philadelphia County!

Services are provided to children with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and learning needs in preschool, daycare, and home-based settings.

We have full-time, part-time, and contract/per-diem positions available.

Position Overview

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work directly with children on a one-on-one (1:1) basis to support behavioral, social, communication, and developmental goals. Most children receive services for approximately 3–7 hours per day.

The RBT will implement behavior intervention strategies and support the child’s success in preschool, daycare, or home environments.
