ABA Centers of Tennessee in Franklin, TN seeks a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics. The role requires active RBT certification, reliable transportation, and availability Monday–Friday with some Saturdays. Competitive starting rates are offered, plus referral bonuses for RBT and BCBA success.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through the BACB is required.
• Preferred: 1 year experience working with children/youth in education or ABA therapy.
• Experience managing aggressive and severe behaviors preferred.
• Availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality; document session data.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings and training.
• Assist with administrative/clinical support tasks as needed.

What You'll Do

Direct Client Support

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• Active RBT certification through the BACB is required
• Preferred one-year experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy
• Experience managing aggressive and severe behaviors
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
