Job summary

April ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct ABA therapy to children and adolescents in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA, implement individualized treatment plans, collect client data, and collaborate with families to achieve meaningful outcomes.

The role emphasizes ethical practice, ongoing supervision, professional growth, and a supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ABA therapy services under supervision of a BCBA.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Collect and accurately record client data during therapy sessions.
  • Assist in teaching communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
  • Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs.
  • Maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
  • Participate in supervision sessions, team meetings, and training activities.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and within timelines.
  • Adhere to the RBT Ethics Code and BACB requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide direct ABA therapy services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as written
  • Collect and accurately record client data during therapy sessions
  • Assist in teaching communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
  • Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs in accordance with treatment goals
  • Maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with clients and families
  • Participate in required supervision sessions, team meetings, and training activities
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timelines
  • Adhere to the RBT Ethics Code, BACB requirements, and all organizational policies and procedures
  • Communicate client progress, concerns, and barriers to treatment with supervising clinicians
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect client information in accordance with applicable regulations
