Job summary

ABA Centers of America is hiring part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Behavior Technician (BT) to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis therapy in homes, schools, and clinics across Massachusetts. The roles offer paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for advancement, including support to pursue RBT certification through the ABA Academy of Excellence.

Starting pay is $24.60 per hour for RBT and $22.25 per hour for BT, with final compensation based on experience and education.

Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification in good standing.
  • Willingness to complete paid training and pass the RBT exam.
  • Available Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
  • Paid training and mentorship provided to support certification.

Responsibilities

  • Direct client support and deliver ABA therapy in various settings.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision.
  • Track progress and document session data accurately.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in meetings and training.
  • Provide administrative and clinical support as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Direct Client Support
  • Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs Teach communication, social, and daily living skills Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision Track Progress & Maintain Quality Collect, organize, and document session data accurately Collaborate & Communicate Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families Participating in team meetings and ongoing training
  • Support Operations
  • Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed
Position-Specific Items
  • Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
  • Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
