Job summary

ABA Centers of Georgia is seeking a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) for part-time work in Macon, GA. The role supports individuals with autism across in-home, community, and center settings, with paid training and a clear path for RBT certification.

Starting pay is $24.50/hour for BT and $26/hour for RBT, with final compensation based on experience and credentials. Opportunities for advancement include Lead RBT, BCBA paths, a BCBA Apprentice Program, CEU

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation, driver's license and auto insurance for in-home services.
• Clean background and driving record.
• BT: Attend 40-hour RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 45 days.
• RBT: Attend required training program.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in home, community, or centers.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based methods.
• Collect, organize and summarize data during sessions.
• Collaborate in clinical team meetings and training.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by BCBA.
• Communicate with families, BCBAs, and team members to support needs.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties to support operations.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals with autism in the home, in the community, or in one of our new centers
• Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs
• Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support operations

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent, reliable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients
• Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
• BT:Ability to attend our 40-hour RBT training course and be eligible to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire
• RBT:Ability to attend required training program
