Job summary

ABA Centers of Ohio in Marion, OH is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavioral Technician (BT). Starting rates: $21.40/hour for RBT and $19.35/hour for BT, with final compensation based on experience, training, and education.

Paid training and mentorship support certification and career growth in ABA therapy. You will deliver ABA therapy in diverse settings under BCBA supervision, track progress, and collaborate with families and BCBAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience (including internships).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues as needed.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality; collect and document session data.

WhatYou’llDo

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track Progress &MaintainQuality
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately

Collaborate & Communicate

• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participatingin team meetings and ongoing training

Support Operations

• Assistwith administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT):Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT):Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
