Job summary

ABA Centers of America is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support individuals with autism in home, community, or center settings. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance within the ABA program and pursue further certifications.

Starting at $25/hour with growth potential based on experience and credentials; in-home services and flexible after-school availability are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (21+ if located in New Jersey).
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistent, reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and car insurance for in-home services.
• Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
• BT: attend 40-hour RBT fulltime paid training course and pass RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
• RBT: attend required paid training program.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments.
• Collect, organize, and summarize data during sessions.
• Collaborate with clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
• Implement training sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Communicate with families and team members to support client needs.
• Perform clerical/administrative duties to support operations.

What You’ll Do

• Support individuals with autism in the home, in the community, or in one of our new centers
• Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions*
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client’s needs
• Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support operations

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years or older if located in New Jersey)
