Job summary

Blue Gems ABA in Maryland is seeking an RBT to work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home, school, or clinic settings, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans. You will deliver high-quality ABA therapy, collect real-time data, and collaborate with supervising BCBAs and families to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment during sessions.

Job Requirements

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus).
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
