Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an ABA therapist for 1:1 sessions with children and young adults with autism, in home or community settings. The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans and maintaining strict professional boundaries. You will receive supervision from a BCBA and participate in team activities and parent training.

Must have a high school degree and a valid driver's license for client home visits; some experience in related roles helps, background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication.
• Willing to have a background check.
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to clients' homes.
• High School Degree is required.
• Experience as Nanny/Teacher/Paraprofessional/ Early childhood provider can help transition to RBT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral interventions and individualized treatment plans for ages 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent trainings.
• Maintain open communication with the BCBA and RBT team about treatment delivery to pediatric patients.
• Receive supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries with child patients and families per BACB guidelines.
• Enter data and all trials daily for each pediatric patient and all programs.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA and other RBT team members as needed relating to the delivery of treatment to our pediatric patients.
• Receive supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around our child patients and their families as indicated by the BACB.
• Enter data and all trials utilized daily for each pediatric patient for all programs targeted.
• Remain available for all supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
