Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking part-time behavioral therapy staff to provide 1:1 treatment in home or community settings. Position requires working two part-time shifts between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

at Alamo Heights or the inner west side of San Antonio, TX, with mileage reimbursement and bonus opportunities. Must be a Registered Behavior Technician and able to travel between assignments.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of work/volunteer experience.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail; dependable transportation for daily travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioral therapy in home or community settings.
• Implement treatment goals under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide progress feedback to supervisor.
• Teach communication, self-help and social skills; track progress.
• Coordinate with management and staff; maintain confidentiality.
• Work as a team member and coordinate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 treatment to individuals in need of behavioral therapy in a home or community setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres to company’s policy and procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all interactions and assignments
• Work independently while understanding the importance of constant communication and coordinating work efforts with management and staff
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma, plus a minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing individual instructions, preferably in a health care environment
• Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to/from multiple assignments/locations on a daily basis
