STEPS Institute for Child Development is looking for a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to add to its growing team. The RBT will provide direct, one-on‑one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs implement individualized treatment plans, collect objective data, teach meaningful life skills, and support children in reaching their highest level of independence.

Services may be provided in clinic, classroom, community, outdoor and natural environment teaching settings. This role requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, and active engagement with children throughout the workday. This position can require or involve some degree of physical interaction with students who have difficulty controlling physical behavior. Must occasionally lift, move and/or support up to 50 pounds.
Qualified candidates who are not yet certified may be hired as Behavior Technicians and receive support through STEPS Institute's comprehensive RBT training pathway.
