Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated RBT to join our team in the Kansas area. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, by delivering in-home and community-based ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data, maintaining confidential records, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
Skills
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
