Action Behavior Centers in Hutto, TX is seeking a Behavior Technician with an active RBT certification to work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy. You will follow treatment plans and collect session data in a supportive clinic setting.

This full-time role offers predictable day hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) with optional Saturdays, and opportunities for advancement through our Everest Program. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work with young children.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality with a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games and hands-on activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
• Support a nearby ABC clinic for additional coverage if needed.

Pay (based On Education & Previous ABA Experience)

• High School / Associate’s Degree: $17.50– $24 per hour
• Bachelor’s Degree: $21 –$25.50 per hour
• Master’s Degree: $23.50 –$27 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy. In this role, you will:

Job Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
• Able to maintain an active pace while working with young children
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
• Team mindset: may occasionally help support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed
