Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Salary: $37,440.00/yr – $52,000.00/yr. The base pay range is provided by Opal Autism Centers. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA
  • Collect data on client behaviors and progress
  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development
  • Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies
  • Assist in developing educational materials and resources
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis
Requirements
  • Active RBT certification – OR – certificate of completion of a 40‑hour RBT training course recognized and accepted by the BACB – OR – work experience as a BT in the field of ABA
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
  • Ability to obtain CPR certification before your employment start date
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team
  • Desire for ongoing professional development and training
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day
  • Comfortable working fully on‑site in a center‑based setting
