Job summary

A behavioral health company in Oregon is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you'll implement individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism, teaching essential communication and life skills. Candidates should be passionate, patient, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. The position offers a pay range of $19 - $24 per hour along with various employee perks and benefits.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification after completing onboarding.

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.

In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
