Step Beyond Development is a Florida-based, BCBA-owned center-based ABA clinic hiring certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work with children with autism. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a center setting and help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will implement individualized plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBAs, with ongoing supervision and professional development.

WE ARE HIRING CERTIFIED REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANS (RBTs)!

Step Beyond Development is seeking passionate, dedicated, and currently certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team!

IMPORTANT: Applicants must already hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to be considered for this position. We are not currently accepting applicants who are seeking initial RBT certification.

At Step Beyond Development, we believe that quality ABA therapy starts with supported, valued, and well-trained professionals. Our center-based ABA program serves children ages 2–17 years old, providing individualized treatment designed to develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will:

• Provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in a center-based setting.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by supervising BCBAs.
• Teach communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Implement behavior reduction procedures in accordance with treatment plans.
• Collect accurate behavioral data and document client progress.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and fellow RBTs to support client success.
• Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with BACB requirements.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants MUST meet the following requirements:

• ACTIVE Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB — REQUIRED.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to pass all required pre-employment background screenings.
• Hold or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Be comfortable working with children who may engage in challenging behaviors.
• Be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT

Candidates must be available to provide therapy sessions from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $20–$30 per hour

Physical Requirements

Working with children requires flexibility, movement, and active engagement. Essential job functions may involve standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and lifting or carrying children or materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Please note: An active BACB RBT certification is required at the time of application. Candidates who have not yet obtained their RBT certification will not be considered for this opening.
