Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA in Georgia is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children who have autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities.

You will implement behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, track progress with data, collaborate with families, and help clients build social, communication, and daily living skills. This is an in-person role with a strong teamwork environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred or in progress.
• Experience with ASD/ developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to engage effectively with children and families.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients in improving their social, communication, and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure the consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
• Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to effectively engage with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Additional Requirements:

• Genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their goals.
• Strong desire to learn about Autism and ABA Therapy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Prior experience working with children is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
