Job summary

DreamBuilders ABA is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our passionate team in Chesapeake, VA. This in-home, 1:1 therapy role supports children using evidence-based ABA practices.

We offer paid training and certification assistance, flexible schedules, opportunities for advancement, and competitive pay. Shifts are 4:30-8:30 with travel locally; pay ranges $18-$25 per hour. Must obtain RBT certification and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. BA a plus.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Pay Range: $18 - $25/hour
