Job summary

Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. is seeking dedicated ABA workers to provide one-to-one therapy with supervision from experienced clinicians in clients' homes or our Overland Park clinic.

You will implement behavior plans, help with communication and daily living skills, collect data, and collaborate with families; training is provided, and advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clear communication and an interest in working with children.
• Ability to assist clients with physical tasks with or without accommodation.
• RBT certification preferred; training available for BT candidates.
• Experience in childcare or related field welcomed.

Responsibilities

Pay: $20-$25/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities

Help children with autism and other developmental disabilities build communication, daily living, and other skills that matter to them and their families. At Patterns Behavioral Services, you'll provide one-to-one ABA services with training and support from experienced clinical leaders.

What you'll do

• Follow individualized behavior plans during one-to-one sessions
• Help clients practice communication, daily living, and personal care skills, which may include toileting and hygiene
• Record accurate progress data and share updates with your clinical team
• Communicate professionally with families and team members
• Attend scheduled sessions, meetings, and training

What you'll need

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Clear communication skills and an interest in working with children
• The ability to assist clients with the physical parts of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation

RBT certification is preferred, but it is not required to apply for a BT position.

Experience in childcare, education, direct support, or a related field is welcome.
