Location: Bismarck, ND

Shift: Will vary from Monday through Friday with hours being between 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

Job Schedule: Seasonal

JOB SUMMARY

The Registered Behavior Technician I (RBT) position implements direct behaviour analytic services, under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA) for children and young adults served by Anne Carlsen. The services include implementation of client’s individualised care plans and behavioural intervention programmes as well as evidence‑based curriculum, interventions, and programming. This position provides training, guidance, and direction to the client’s team and staff. The position effectively utilises problem‑solving skills in determining client needs and staff training needs.

Education and/or years’ experience required:

• Required to have a high school diploma
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Complete and pass a criminal background check

Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

• Completion of 40‑hour RBT training requirement and certification within 4 months of employment
• Knowledge of Windows, intranet, internet and telehealth technology
• Ability to access, manipulate, organise, and relay information in meaningful ways using e‑mail, telephone, etc.
• Must have effective skills in organisation and communication – both written and oral
• Ability to direct the work of individuals served using problem‑solving skills, adapt to rapid change, and intervene promptly in crisis/emergency situations
• RBT experience with training in the principles and techniques of Applied Behaviour Analysis, including understanding behavioural plans and behaviour analytical services

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
