Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, building communication, social, and daily living skills through applied behavior analysis. You will collect data, follow behavior plans, and support families in a collaborative, professional setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children.
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification.
• Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings.

Behavior Technicians (BTs)

• High School Diploma

• Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality
