Apploi is hiring a Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in North Carolina, Mayodan, providing direct ABA-based behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will implement behavior plans under BCBA supervision, collect progress data, and collaborate with families and educators to support goals and daily living skills. This role emphasizes patient care, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.

RBT Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavioral therapy techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your primary focus will be on providing patient care, conducting assessments, and collecting data to monitor progress. RBT Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information

• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education

• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred

• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management

• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices

• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively

• A background in special education or related fields is a plus
