Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our center-based team. You will provide 1-1 treatment under BCBA supervision for children on the autism spectrum, in a dynamic, child-focused setting.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, collecting progress data, and training families to carry out strategies at home and in sessions. A passion for helping children and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold current/active RBT certification.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with ASD is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the treatment plan.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions (lift 25+ pounds, move with children aged 2–15).
• Support BCBA/LBA tasks as needed.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties

• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old

• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

• Current/Active RBT Certification
• Access to reliable transportation
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children with ASD, preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information
• Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
