Mindcolor Autism in Texas is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to deliver high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will teach functional communication and social skills while supporting families and caregivers in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid RBT Certification is required.
• Experience with children and behavioral or developmental needs preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of time (about 80%) one‑on‑one or in small groups with clients to build skills.
• Account for notes and documentation; ensure consistency and quality of care.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under a BCBA supervision.
• Participate in training and achieve competency milestones.
• Use evidence‑based behavior management to promote positive behavior.
• Collaborate with BCBA and teammates and share insights for client success.

ROLE:

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are the most vital clinical members who deliver 1:1 treatment for our clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an RBT, you directly impact success and development for our clients and families. You’ll have the structure, support, and feedback you need to succeed, while being part of a collaborative and compassionate team.

• Make a Direct Impact: Spend the majority of your time (about 80%) working one‑on‑one or in small groups with clients, helping them build skills and confidence.
• Stay Organized & Supportive: Use about 20% of your time for session notes, documentation, and other tasks that keep client care consistent and high quality.
• Bring Treatment Plans to Life: Follow individualized plans created by a BCBA, implementing written protocols tailored to each client’s unique goals.
• Learn & Grow: Participate in training, meet competency milestones, and actively practice ABA principles and strategies in your daily work.
• Promote Positive Behavior: Use evidence‑based behavior management strategies and respond safely in challenging or high‑stress situations.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with your BCBA supervisor and teammates, asking questions, seeking feedback, and sharing insights to support each child’s success.
• Track Progress: Collect and input data with accuracy, ensuring treatment decisions are based on reliable information.
• Stay Professional & Compassionate: Communicate with caregivers within your scope, always prioritizing client safety, dignity, and progress.
• Be Ready & Reliable: Arrive prepared to start sessions on time and provide consistent support for clients and families.
• Pitch In as a Team Player: Help prepare materials, maintain a safe and clean learning environment, and contribute to a positive center culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid RBT Certification
• Experience working with children (experience with behavioral or developmental needs preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (adult & child) - must be completed within 30 days of hire
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, data entry)
• Strong communication, reliability, and time management skills
• Team-oriented and professional in all situations
• Reliable transportation to on‑site location
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, assist with client needs, and maintain safety awareness
• Comfortable supporting personal care needs (e.g., toileting, diaper changes)
• Comfortable with challenging behaviors (e.g., tantrums, elopement)
• Consistent availability (up to 40 hours/week) during center hours
