Job summary

Associates in Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA therapy in outpatient clinics or home-based settings under BCBA supervision. You will conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments and implement individualized treatment plans for children.

This role requires maintaining an active RBT certification with BACB, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and families, and completing documentation for billing and state requirements.

Qualifications

Job description

Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for direct client care and provides high-quality early intervention services with support directions from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The RBT will be responsible for conducting initial and on-going behavioral assessments and developing treatment plans, while directing one-on-one behavior intervention in language, social, play, and functional living skills with patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in an outpatient clinic setting or home-based setting.
• Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behavior analysts/consultants.
• Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families.
• Complete all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT.
• Provide detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop behavior plans based on assessment results.
• Make appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
• Participate in therapy meetings as scheduled.
• Attend CEU training as needed to maintain professional license requirements.
• Comply with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education / Licenses

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and must maintain an active and current certification as a RBT.
• In good standing with the BACB.
