Job summary

My Team ABA in Georgia seeks Behavior Technicians (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children in home or community settings in Marietta and Smyrna, afternoons (2pm–7pm).

We provide full training, cover the RBT 40-hour course at no cost, and support pathway to RBT certification. Benefits include medical/vision/dental, 401k, and 3 weeks PTO for full-time staff.

Qualifications

  • Education: HS diploma or higher; RBT 40-hour training required.
  • Experience: 1 year ABA or related child experience preferred.
  • Background check required.
  • Reliable car and driver's license for client visits.
  • English communication skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions with children in home or community settings.
  • Implement behavior plans for ages 2–21.
  • Conduct discrete trials and natural environment teaching.
  • Collect data and enter into EMR daily.
  • Collaborate with BCBA and clinical team.
  • Maintain communication with families and supervisors.
  • Receive supervision from BCBA at ~5% of services.

BT/RBT Job Description

We are hiring Behavioral Technicians (RBT) to provide high-quality ABA Therapy to children in the home and community setting in the Marietta and Smyrna areas, specifically for afternoon clients (2pm-7pm).

We provide full training for those who are new to the field, as well as room for growth for more experienced candidates.

Here’s what we need from you:
  • Education: High school Diploma or College Degree required

  • RBT 40-hour training is required prior to working with a client

  • Experience: One year experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.

  • Dependability: Consistency and reliability are crucial for the individual's success

  • Knowledge of Autism and related behavioral interventions preferred

  • Integrity: You must perform your role with the utmost integrity and professionalism

  • Positivity & Patience: It's all about a positive attitude!

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English

  • Background Check: Willing to have background check completed

  • Transportation: Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to the home of clients

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Able to perform activities that require fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sit on floor level or in a chair, or stand for periods of time while working with clients.

  • Able to respond quickly over short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of clients.

  • Able and willing to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.

RBT Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities in the home or community setting.

  • Implement behavior intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21

  • Conduct discrete trials, natural environment teaching, and utilize a variety of skill building and reinforcement methods in line with the treatment plan during sessions.

  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions for all programs targeted and enter into EMR daily.

  • Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training

  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

  • Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA, other RBT team members, clinical directors, and families to support the clients’ needs

  • Receive Supervision from a BCBA at a minimum of 5% of services provided.

  • Maintain professional boundaries around all clients and families.

  • Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs

  • Able to effectively resolve conflicts and challenging situations smoothly.

  • Maintain proactive communication with supervisor for feedback and guidance.
