Job summary

Able Stars ABA Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team providing 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings. You will implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA and collect data on client progress, ensuring accurate notes and ongoing communication with your supervisor.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, adherence to BACB guidelines, and ongoing professional development with hands-on supervision and onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification issued by the BACB.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Strong observational, data collection, and communication skills.
• Comfortable using ABA software and Microsoft 365 applications on a personal device (phone/tablet/laptop).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally.
• Able to perform the physical tasks of the role, including lifting up to 35 lbs. and staying active with children throughout sessions.

• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment during therapy sessions.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Adhere to BACB guidelines, ethics, and all regulatory and funding source requirements.
