Position Overview

This role is a strong starting point or next step for individuals who want to build a career in Applied Behavior Analysis. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct support to children and their families by implementing individualized ABA programs that promote learning and development. Sessions may take place in client homes or in community settings based on the needs of each child. Most shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility available to match your availability. Hourly pay ranges from $22 to $28 depending on experience and qualifications, and candidates who are fluent in Spanish are eligible for a higher pay rate.

Responsibilities

Behavior Technicians play a vital role in helping children build communication abilities, social skills, and independence within daily routines. You'll use research-supported teaching methods to help clients learn new behaviors while reducing those that interfere with safety or autonomy. Individuals who have studied psychology, education, social services, or similar areas are strongly encouraged to apply. To excel in this position, you'll need to be dependable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping clients make meaningful progress.

<>Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance that lists the technician as a covered driver. A negative TB test is required, along with the ability to communicate clearly, think creatively, and maintain a professional presence. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and collaborating closely with team members. Incentive Pay Structure
  • $1/hour raise after maintaining consistent availability for 90 consecutive days
  • Additional $1/hour raise upon successfully earning RBT certification
Cancellation Policy

To protect staff time and earnings, we maintain a clear cancellation policy. Paid cancellations are provided for up to 2 hours of pay if a client cancels within 30 minutes or less of the scheduled start time and/or technician has already departed for the session. We also actively monitor and address excessive client cancellations to protect technician schedules and maintain consistent hours.
