Job summary

Associates in Pediatric Therapy seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct client care in outpatient or home-based ABA therapy. Qualifications

The RBT will be responsible for conducting initial and on-going behavioural assessments and developing treatment plans, while directing one-on-one behaviour intervention in language, social, play, and functional living skills with patients.

• Implements Individualised Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behaviour analysts/consultants.
• Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families.
• Complete all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT.
• Provide detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop behaviour plans based on assessment results.
• Make appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow Registered Behaviour Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
• Participate in therapy meetings as scheduled.
• Attend CEU training as needed to maintain professional licence requirements.
• Comply with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education/Licences:?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) and must maintain an active and current certification as a RBT.
• In good standing with the BACB.

• 1 year experience preferred but not required

Physical Needs
