Veolia is seeking a Regional Training and Operations Technician within its Water Technologies division in the United States. The role focuses on covering vacations and absences at multiple facilities, developing local operations teams, and supporting start-ups.

You will help maintain treatment processes and train technicians in regional plants. The position requires flexibility for day and night shifts, travel within the region, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia-operated facilities in designated region during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Work day and night shifts as needed with flexible scheduling.
• Assist in the operational development of local technicians within the region.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices across facilities.
• Support new account start-up projects and troubleshoot process issues.
• Operate pumps, valves, and motors to regulate flow in wastewater treatment.
• Collect and test wastewater samples per testing frequency and document results.
• Maintain accurate records of residual chemical content, turbidity, and water pressure.
• Comply with Veolia safety programs and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with site operators to optimize plant operations and treatment decisions.
• Provide training and leadership to team members on daily operations and maintenance.
