Job summary

Veolia seeks a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at multiple water facilities in the region. The role supports training and development of local operation teams and serves in startup support for new accounts.

Responsibilities include operating pumps and valves, collecting samples, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and best practices. Travel between sites and on-call coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience operating wastewater treatment facilities or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to cover multiple facilities and shift patterns.
• Ability to train and develop local operations teams.
• Prior travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia-operated facilities in the region.
• Work various shifts, including day and night, to cover absences.
• Assist in developing and training local technicians.
• Ensure use of industry standards and best practices at facilities.
• Support new account start-ups and troubleshoot process issues.
• Collect and test wastewater samples and record data accurately.
• Coordinate with others to maintain plant operations and equipment.
• Provide guidance and supervision to team members as needed.
