Veolia's Regional Training and Operations Technician role supports multiple water and wastewater facilities across the Louisville region. The position covers vacations and absences, assists in training local teams, and provides on-site support for new account start-ups and ongoing operations.

You will develop training resources, supervise day-to-day activities, ensure best practices and safety, and optimize treatment processes to maintain reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required plus wastewater operations experience.
• Experience operating wastewater treatment facilities and related equipment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with safety mindset.

Responsabilités

• Maintain regional coverage of Veolia-operated facilities during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Provide on-site support for day/night shifts with flexible scheduling.
• Assist in developing and mentoring local technicians in the region.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety programs at facilities.
• Support new account start-up projects and process troubleshooting.
• Operate motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flows in treatment plants.
• Collect and test wastewater samples, recording data accurately.
• Coordinate with management to determine best treatment approaches.
