Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Regional Visual Merchandising Manager to coach and develop instore VM teams, ensuring strategic objectives and VM consistency. You will hire, supervise and empower VM managers and merchandisers while collaborating with HR on compensation and coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Visual Merchandising management and/or leadership roles.
• Demonstrates understanding of Visual Merchandising and Nordstrom service environment.
• Sets clear direction through effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop instore VM teams to achieve objectives.
• Hire, supervise and empower VM Managers and Visual Merchandisers.
• Collaborate with HR on compensation, hiring and coaching.
• Clarify and communicate Visual Merchandising directives for customers and product.
• Adapt directives for each store based on current product.
• Coordinate with Corporate Partners for education on guidelines and installations.
• Uphold Nordstrom Brand integrity across regions and strategies.
• Plan for business and regional needs and execute the plan with excellence.
• Communicate clearly and consistently; motivate and inspire teams.
• Align with corporate, VM Managers and partners on openings, remodels and events.
• Provide feedback during walkthroughs and develop team improvements.
• Identify and develop next generation Visual Leaders.
• Forecast and manage regional budget.
