Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is hiring a full-time CCS Regional Trainer. The role delivers in-person and virtual staff and foster parent trainings, maintains training records, and tracks data to support the CCS program.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, with preference for a master’s degree and CWEL. A valid driver’s license is required. LSSI offers a comprehensive benefits package and a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Master’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Background check clearance (criminal and CANTS) required.
• CWEL preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in human or social services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate in-person and virtual trainings for CCS staff and foster parents.
• Maintain accurate training records and monitor data reports.
• Collaborate with regional trainers to create cohesive training systems for CCS efforts.
• Assist in recruitment and retention initiatives for foster parents.
• Ensure timely delivery of training initiatives and document outcomes.
• Demonstrate professional, respectful conduct with clients and colleagues.
