Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Regional Technical Sales Consultant for US Data Centers to bridge sales and customers across preferred regions. You will travel to sites, identify service opportunities, and deliver solutions for transformers and HV breakers, emphasizing technical depth and customer collaboration.

The role requires 10+ years in field work with HV equipment, 3–5 years in datacenter sales, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• 10+ years field experience with transformers and HV breakers, incl. 4+ years as field crew lead.
• 3–5 years datacenter sales or services experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Excellent MS Office skills and CRM familiarity (Salesforce).
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site assessments and technical consultations to identify service opportunities.
• Provide technical support on electrical testing, controls, and oil processing.
• Collaborate with engineering, safety, and planning teams for project execution.
• Support proposals, scopes, and quotes addressing customer needs.
• Maintain relationships with utilities, EPCs, and industrial clients.
• Generate detailed field reports and maintain CRM records.
• Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events and ensure regulatory compliance.
