Job summary

TouchPoint is seeking a Regional Support Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy across the Michigan region, traveling between Detroit, Grand Blanc, and Warren. The role is on-site with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in acute care settings, providing evidence-based nutrition care to improve patient outcomes.

You will assess, plan, and implement nutrition care, educate patients and staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while collaborating with facilities and food

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) required or eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice, with credentials.
• Specialty certification when required or preferred.
• Two years of work experience in the specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans for patients in a designated specialty area.
• Provide nutrition education and lifestyle guidance to patients, families, staff, and community.
• Apply evidence-based practice in line with policies and protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives (QAPI) and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support mentorship and training for dietetic interns and staff.
